The Construction Industry Council will now be operating from the Fiji National University in Samabula to provide more efficient services for Fijians.
Council Chief Executive Vijay Naidu says there new location is an added advantage for all students whether they are from FNU or any other institutions and Universities.
“For the first time people will have somewhere to go to with any issue they have currently they do not have anywhere to go to and we are made up of 17 associations and which area is of concern we will direct them so basically we are the facilitator.”
Naidu says the council has also agreed to provide guest lecturers to FNU to better the students’ knowledge and make them aware of the opportunities available in the construction industry.
