September 11, 2012 5:15 am

Methodist Church’s dairy project in Navuso would mean members won’t be burdened with church levy or soli in the near future.

The church says the project has the potential to earn about ten million dollars annually.

Church General Secretary Rev Tevita Nawadra says each circuit has been asked to foot the cost of a cow.

“The Church is trying is best to help the congregation lessen the burden on levy.”

He says more than 300 circuits are likely to contribute the Navuso Dairy Farm and this mean millions can be raked in every year.

He says they are currently more than 50 cows with more likely to arrive.

The Methodist Church has increased the church levy from $10- $15 a year.
