The body of the 58-year- old woman was found at around 6 pm by her neighbour who went to check on a foul smell emanating from the house.

It’s understood the woman was living alone.

The victim’s body is at the Sigatoka Hospital Mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination.

More details are expected to be released later.
