Two police officers from the Hubei Province have joined the Forensics Department on attachment.

The officers are Supervisor Class 1, Wang Xiang and Superintendent Class 1, Zhang Zheng from Hubei Provincial Public Security Department.

They will spend the next few days visiting all Police Units in a familiarization exercise.

This is the third attachment of officers from China.

In 2011 the Governments of Fiji and China signed the Police Cooperation Agreement which has seen the two Police organisations exchange assistance in many forms.
