Two children were treated for injuries at Lautoka Hospital after a road accident in Sigatoka last night.

The children were in a car with other passengers heading to Nadroumai Village.

Another vehicle driven by a 34-year old farmer of Yadua Village bumped their car at Volivoli Road causing it to tumble over to the right hand side of the road.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says the children aged four and five years were treated for injuries at Lautoka Hospital and sent home.

Other passengers in the car and the 29-year old driver of Nasama Village escaped serious injuries.

Eye witnesses say one of the drivers was earlier seen driving recklessly.
