Charging a fee to applicants who need help in filling British Army application forms and sponsors is illegal.

RBL Branch Manager, Merewalesi Deonilagilagi says this is against the law.

“You don’t have to go and pay someone to enlist you in the army. We don’t charge that from here, everything is done online .This is just to clear the air out, just to let you know that there is no payment at all. If you want to join the army you need to do this online.”

Deonilagilagi says they will continue to help those that need assistance in joining the British Army.

The RBL will be running a pre-assessment for all candidates who have received their invitation letters on Wednesday.
