Certain actions are against climate fight says PM

Certain countries and companies are not worried about the future of planet earth says Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.

Speaking to youths at COP 25 in Madrid, Spain last night, he says it’s time for short sighted world leaders and businesses to make change for the better.

Making no bones about what some were doing Bainimarama says the fight against climate change will, not improve until a holistic approach is undertaken by the world.

“All of us calling for ambitious climate action face formidable foes in the fossil fuel advocates and other vested interests who are willing to sacrifice your future for the sake of shorts term profit.”

The man at the forefront of leading Pacific’s fight against climate change says COP 25 gives island nations another opportunity to talk about the disaster that prevails over us.

“That is the message we will be driving home throughout this COP and beyond. It is a message I humbly ask you all to share.”

Bainimarama will be holding numerous engagements at COP 25 in the coming week.
