April 1, 2012 3:00 am

Adverse weather conditions have had an impact on the 132,000 volt transmission line that supplies power from the Wailoa Power Station to the Central Division.

The FEA says they have some idea of the location of the fault on this transmission line however, access is an issue due to floods and poor condition of the access road as a result of the heavy rains.

In the meantime, they are in the process of supplying power from the Kinoya Power Station.
