“Interestingly, Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use activities also generate or contribute to greenhouse gas. FAO has stated that these activities can contribute around 21 percent of such emissions globally. Therefore, it is appropriate that agriculture limit its impact on climate by ensuring that agricultural practices are climate-smart.”

The theme for the show is Climate Smart agriculture Fiji.

Three provinces, namely Rewa, Tailevu and Naitasiri will participate in the three day show with farmers competing for awards of the best in various categories.
