July 3, 2017 3:57 am

Coca-Cola Amatil Limited is working on becoming 40 percent solar powered.

This comes after Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama launched the company’s solar energy project in Suva today.

“You have embraced solar energy to help power your installation here in Nasinu. And in doing this you are taking a key leadership role in persuading private enterprise throughout the Pacific to do the same. Because we all know that embracing renewable energy is the key to solving the challenge of climate change, which poses such danger to the way of life in the Pacific.”
