A 23-year-old unemployed man of Caubati road in Suva appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday charged with the unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

Pita Cinaturaga was arrested and charged after he was in possession of zero point seven grams of Indian hemp.

The court has given seven days to the defence counsel to prepare mitigating submissions.

Bail is extended for Cinaturaga to the 19th of this month.
