The Sugar Cane Growers Council is urging all cane farmers to work together if the sugar cane industry is to be further strengthened.

Council Chief Executive, Sundresh Chetty says the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama through his government has been providing a lot of assistance to the industry.

Chetty says when any problem arises the Council or the Fiji Sugar Corporation is always ready to assist cane farmers.

He also says it’s no use criticizing any one as this will do no good to the industry and the council wants farmers to earn more.
