The Fiji Cancer Society is calling for support to continue their fight against cancer.

President Philip Low says they raised around $61,000 through the biggest morning tea last year and noted a marked increase from corporate and community organizations.

Their aim this year is to raise around $30,000.

“Money is great but more importantly we need to spread the message more that’s the biggest part of our role.”

The funds raised thorough morning teas are used to assist people suffering from cancer with their medication and transportation expenses.
