Call for stability in Fiji

A youth advocate says youths no longer want to live in instability.

Speaking at a panel discussion on the Constitution last night – Jope Tarai says as an indigenous and a young person his vision is not sophisticated but practical.

Like every citizen of this country Tarai says he also has a common goal in his mind and that common goal is peace and stability.

This vision needs two simple things cooperation and overused expression cooperation and compromise, this two simple aspect should be taken on board and that’s part of a new vision for Fiji.

He says he wants more from Fiji not just a flag but the country to be his home.

A number of speakers spoke at the USP’s School of Law organized panel of discussion before the actual submissions to the Constitution Commission began.

The Commission also launched their guidebook, “Building the People’s Constitution: Your Responsibility’ – last night.
