Companies that are interested in manufacture the new national flag can send in their Expression of Interest to the Government.

A government notice says the company must have a proven track record in the manufacture of flag and one of the government’s requirements is flags of different sizes.

Once the final Fiji flag design is selected in July, the successful company will then have a maximum of two months to manufacture and supply the flags in time for Fiji’s 45th Independence celebrations on October 10.

All applications are to be sent to the Ministry of Finance on the fifteenth of next month.
