Cabinet briefed on TC Winston aftermath

There was a full briefing of the cabinet this morning at the National Disaster Management Office to give an update on the aftermath of Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston.

Permanent Secretaries were also part of the meet.

It is expected individual ministries will go back and work on their response to TC Winston.

The Prime Minister and Attorney General currently in a meeting and it is expected some ministers including the PM will tour the cyclone affected this afternoon.

All members of the diplomatic corp and aid agencies are at the NDMO getting an update on situation on the ground and how they can assist Fijians authorities in the immediate aftermath of the Cyclone.
