The festive season is the time to earn as much as you can.

And for barber shops in Labasa, crunch time is now before it slows down next month.

Prakash Barber Owner, Thakor Maisuria says that they don’t always have consistent customers, but things changed last week.

“Business is always very good because the time the movement of people are there. My business was good during Christmas time until school re-open then business will be still good.”

Maisuria says the secret to attracting more customers depends entirely on the services provided.

He adds that during the festive season he earned $100-$150 a day and hopes to earn more in the coming weeks.
