Buses are running normally in Nadi following issues raised by a few bus companies.

FBC News visited the Nadi bus stand and other areas this morning and saw no disruption to services.

Director of Westbus Ajay Kumar says that they are doing all they can to continue their services.

Kumar confirms that all their buses are running normally.

He also stresses that their standstill may still happen if their situation worsens.

Meanwhile, in a statement released last night, FBOA’s General Secretary Rohit Latchan says the concerns raised by bus operators in the Western Division about the high cost of doing business in a tightly regulated market is just the tip of the iceberg.

Also the Land Transport Authority yesterday had stated that if Westbus ceased operations, they would be called for a show cause.
