The report on the bus fare review has been completed.

Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission Chief Executive, Joel Abraham says they have met with the Bus Fare Review Committee and deliberations are near completion.

Abraham says they are in the final stages now.

“Given that that Fiji Bus Operators Association is on the committee as well, we discussed the findings of the report, they have analyzed the report, and they have come back and given their views as well.”

Abraham says they have gone through each and every point that was raised and have had discussions with the Fiji Bus Operators Association President.

He says they have proposed different options for the FBOA to consider before anything is finalized.
