The Public Service Commission has appointed Alison Burchell as the new Permanent Secretary for Education, Heritage and Arts.

She was previously the Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports.

Iowane Tiko will now take up a new post as Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports following the appointment by the PSC with the agreement of the Prime Minister.

These appointments take effect immediately.
