BulaFM Drejia Me Lem Competition: 8 participants left

Sotia Tuapati and Richard Rabaka are the latest participants to be eliminated from BulaFM’s Dereji Me Lem Competition.

BulaFM Programs Director, Salanieta Veilawa says both participants broke certain rules of the competition.

Salanieta Veilawa says eight participants remain, braving the heat in the last day of the competition at Rups Complex in Nakasi.

“So far we have 8 participants left or remaining. From this morning we have a total of 9 participants who are still standing. And after two hours before their four hours completed two of the participants was eliminated. One he broke the rules and the one he forgot or he thinks that the siren goes for their breaks. But he didn’t know that the hours of their standing is still left”.

Veilawa says there’s five women and three men still standing.

She adds if there is no clear winner by 3pm today, the remaining participants will pull the vehicle for 45 meters in a timed final.

The participant with the fastest time recorded will drive away with the 2019 Hyundai Tuscon worth more than $69,000.

The winner is expected to be announced this evening.
