The 2018 Bula Festival was officially launched last night.

It was a chance to showcase the contesting Queens and Kings for this year’s festival to the invited guests.

Reigning Miss Bula, Ashika Menon says the Bula Festival is a platform for young women and men to advocate on topics that they are passionate about.

Menon also says that these contestants should always hold their heads up high despite criticisms from the public.

“All these ladies and especially the King contestants each of them is unique and special in their own way and standing up on this stage she has a message to portray to other young girls who would love to stand on this platform.”

The Bula Festival will be held from the 14th to the 21st of next month.
