The Fiji Bureau of Statistics has released the total number of building permits and completion certificates issued for the quarter of September this year including its value.

There were 418 building permits for construction work valued at $66.4 million and 141 completion certificates with a value of $44.0 million.

Building permits issued were for factories, commercial, education, hotels and religious buildings.

Completion certificates have also been issued for hospitals.
