Local Government and Housing Minister Parvin Bala says the budget is a win-win situation for all the Fijians.

The Ministry has been allocated thirty-three point nine million dollars of which six point six million dollars is for operating expenditure and twenty-seven point one million dollars for capital expenditure.

This is an increase of eighteen point four million dollars.

“All the allocation that has been given to our ministry is based on the submissions that we made to the Ministry of Economy during our consultation period and I am happy to say that whatever we have asked for is being given so it’s now time for us to deliver.”

Bala says the Ministry will undertake new initiatives and construct roadside mini markets in eight locations.
