The Government has provided $1.5m to subsidize kidney dialysis treatment.

Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says they will provide a subsidy of $150 per treatment and at centres where the cost is $150 per treatment.

He adds this would effectively mean the patient will pay no cost.
