BSP to launch more self-service apps

Bank South Pacific is working towards launching more self- service apps for their customers this year.

BSP’s Country Manager Kevin McCarthy says in this technological era, fifty percent of Fiji’s population use internet on their mobiles and self- service apps are necessary.

McCarthy says the bank is looking at launching credit card functionality mobile app.

“We will also be launching our new credit card functionality on the mobile app as well. This will come later in the year and will give great access to our credit card information balances and transaction information.”

He says as service providers, the bank aims to better their online services for their customers in the coming years.

He adds this will create an effective and a more reliable service delivery to their customers.

The bank today launched its enhanced mobile banking app which will benefit people to pay bills to major service providers, top up phones and access other services on their mobiles, tablets and desktop computers.
