BSP launches mobile banking app

BSP Customers will be able to pay their bills, top up their mobiles and access other necessary services by using their newly launched Mobile Banking app.

BSP Country Manager Kevin McCarthy says they have invested $5.5m for this app.

He says the app is an extension of the Banks enhanced online banking solution now re-launched as BSP Online Plus which can be accessed using a desktop computer, mobile phone or a tablet.

He says payments for the major service providers like Energy Fiji, Water Authority of Fiji, Telecom can also be made.

McCarthy says the bank has 43 registered BSP Billers already which includes Courts, Carpenters, TLTB, Land Transport Authority, municipal councils and other service providers.

The app also allows customers to make recurring payment schedules, view account details and balances for savings and loan accounts, make transfer between their own accounts and make payments to other BSP accounts or external bank accounts.
