The BSP’s Mobile Banking App has secured twenty thousand subscribers since launching about a month ago.

He adds through the app, customers will be able to instantly top up their mobile phones and transfer funds within accounts and internationally.

“You could do a phone top up instantly to my own phone, my family member’s phone or even a friend who does not bank with BSP. Also the app allows you to make foreign currency transactions which of course has to be within the guidelines of the central bank which has been taken care off.”

Singh reassures its customers that all the enhanced features are secured under the app.

“The username is very common and unique. You also have the ability to set up your own password. Further to that the system will lock you out after a certain time of inactivity – so that is the second level of security feature. Lastly and the most importantly – if you happen to create a new pay, you will have to go through a second level of authentication.”

Singh says BSP also plans to add more services to its existing platform in the near future.
