The body of a 49-year-old man of Waikubukubu Village in Nadarivatu has been recovered.

The body was discovered by a 42-year-old man few meters away from where he was last seen.

A post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

It’s alleged the man was crossing a river yesterday afternoon but failed to make it to the other side due to the strong current.
