The body of the twenty-three-year-old who went missing while swimming in the Dreketi River in Saweni Lautoka has been recovered.

The victim’s body was recovered at around 1pm by divers.

A post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

The man had allegedly dived into the river and failed to surface.

The incident happened on Tuesday.
