The body of a 40-year-old was found in Lautoka early this morning.

Police say the body was discovered around 6 this morning at the Lautoka Excellent Transport Garage opposite the Lautoka Fisheries Wharf.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the body was discovered between two containers and the body was conveyed to the Lautoka Hospital.

She says initial information gathered from someone who was with the deceased is that he had experienced breathing problems and collapsed.

Investigations continue.
