Blue Light Camp to get underway in Kadavu tomorrow

More than 100 students from around Kadavu will be part of the Blue Light camp tomorrow.

For the first time since the inception of the camp by the Fiji Police Force, vocational students on the island will also be part of the program.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the aim of the program is to enable youths to contribute effectively to the community.

“This year, we’ve got participants as young as 13 as they all eager to find out and learn more about this program. We have been undergoing some team bonding exercises. We have being taught about the various laws of the land and also certain law for example the juvenile act.”

Naisoro says the programme be officially opened by the Deputy Police Commissioner Isikeli Ligairi .
