The Economy Minister yesterday launched the bizFiji website where people can visit to access certain government services.

The website will allow people to apply for certain services and carry out searches suitable to ones need or wants.

Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says as part of the government’s initiative, small to medium business enterprises need to register with the new system to help quicken their transactions with other corporate bodies.

“If you’re registered under the old system. Please you need to re-register. By re-registering all your information will be made available online. So if next time you go to the bank to get a further loan, the bank won’t take a number of days to actually process the application. They simply can go online. Have all the information available electronically and a decision should be made in a matter of minutes.”

Sayed-Khaiyum is urging relevant stakeholders and corporate bodies in the country to work together to achieve their common interest.
