The Land Transport Authority will soon strengthen its legislation surrounding the operation of motor bikes in the country.

A famous biker and Minister for Public Enterprise Faiyaz Koya launched the campaign for motor cycle safety this morning.

LTA chief executive Naisa Tuinaceva said the authority will conduct more awareness regarding the new operation before distributing licenses to bikers

This kind of awareness will get the spirit across the board, more people wanting to do this and the LTA will definitely need to quickly re look into not only the legislation but our processors in terms of licensing our riders.

Tuinaceva says Motor cyclists remain the most vulnerable group among all road users.
