Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has approved the relocation of the Nursing Station in Bua.

The station is currently is located on the Nabouwalu to Labasa Highway and villagers living in the surrounding areas have to walk many miles to access health care.

However, after a briefing from the Roko Tui Bua and the Commissioner Northern, the Prime Minister visited the new site located in Lomanikoro Bua which is centrally located for the villages.

The relocation will cost Government $230, 000 and will take eight months to complete.
