October 5, 2015 5:21 am
A former Secretary of the Independent Legal Services Commission who did not come on time to court when her case was called this morning was issued a bench warrant.
Afrana Nisha is charged with falsification of documents and obtaining financial advantage offences amounting to $3,450.
FICAC says they have given her time for her lawyer to file a notice of motion with accompanying affidavits to cancel the bench warrant, by Wednesday.
Nisha is alleged to have committed the offence in 2012 whilst employed by the Commission.
The case was called in the Suva Magistrates Court.
