The National Federation Party elect Lenora Qereqeretabua says being voted as a member of parliament will be a challenge.

Speaking to FBC News, Qereqeretabua says it will be a learning curve and that she is looking forward to her new role.

Despite NFP winning only three seats during the 2018 General Election, Qereqeretabua says they will ensure that people’s voices are heard in parliament.

“What I want to do first is to listen to the issues and the NFP candidates are not moving away from what we believed in our manifesto in 2018 and we want to keep offering those solutions to the people of Fiji.”

Qereqeretabua says she will be more vocal in parliament when it comes to environmental issues as she claims that it is a major concern in our country.
