Miss Fiji Zaira Begg left Fiji this morning to represent Fiji at the Miss South Pacific pageant in the Cook Islands.

Begg says she will be advocating on youth empowerment and will try her best to portray Fiji’s uniqueness and diversity.

“It doesn’t matter where you come from only where you are going and that whatever financial situation you go through whatever background you have it doesn’t really define you what really defines a person is hard work and the perseverance to achieve your goals."

The pageant will come to an end on the 13th of December.
