The public is urged to be cautious this season as many incidents of pick pocketing and car break-ins have been reported at major towns and cities.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says people are to be mindful of their valuables and money so that criminal elements are not given an opportunity to strike.

Car owners are requested not to leave any valuable items in their vehicles.

Naisoro says Police officers cannot be everywhere, thus they will need everyone to be mindful of the advice given out.
