April 9, 2012 7:30 pm

The Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has reminded government officials assisting in the rehabilitation works in the western division to be mindful of their approach to people affected by the recent floods, as they have suffered a lot.

His call follows concerns raised by a Dairy shop owner at Sabeto in Nadi alleging that some health officials confiscated alcohol from his shop to take to the Lautoka rubbish land-fill.

According to the shop owner, he later discovered that the alcohol was taken to Waqadra.

He has instructed his officials in the west to investigate the incident.

Meanwhile PM will be heading to the northern division this morning visiting the bauxite mine and chips factory in Wairiki in Bua before moving to Macuata and Cakaudrove.
