The sentencing of a former staff of the Suva High Court has been deferred by the Suva Magistrates Court.

She is alleged to have obtained a financial advantage of more than eleven thousand dollars knowing that she was not eligible to receive the financial advantage.

Bano had already surrendered the money to the High Court’s trust account and has pleaded guilty to the charges against her.

She will now be sentenced on July 3rd.
