The Bank of Baroda has identified locations in major towns and cities to expand its services.
Bank Chief Manager – Fiji Operations, Pabitra Sethi says this is due to high demand from their customer base in the areas they currently do not operate.
Sethi says more branches means more empowerment for Fijians as the Bank’s services will be brought directly to their towns.
“We are exploring the possibility of expanding the business. Then also, in technology side, we want to bring the quality. So last year we introduced rapid funds to India but now we are bringing it to mobile banking and ATM network.”
The bank has been operating in the country for 57 years and employs around 150 staff.
