The three week trial for Indian national Muskan Balaggan charged with one count of exportation of illicit drugs is into its second day today.

Balaggan is charged alongside Elton Xiemali an American.

The two are alleged to have attempted to pass through Nadi Airport with 520 grams of pure cocaine.

DPP lawyer Ilisapeci Whippy says this is a rare case as evidence is pure cocaine.

Workers at the Hexagon hotel gave evidence saying that the two stayed at the hotel between January 24 to 26th.

Xiemali is represented by Suva lawyer Filimoni Vosarogo.
