Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama is expected to leave the country tonight to be Chief Guest at the 2015 Fiji Day Celebration in Surrey, Canada this week.

Bainimarama along with his wife Mary Bainimarama will also be the guests of honour at the first ever Miss Fiji Canada Beauty Pageant and Red Carpet charity gala to be held at the Royal King Palace in Surrey.

Bainimarama will also get to meet the Vancouver and Surrey Chamber of Commerce.

He is also expected to attend a Fijian business forum, tour the Provincial legislature of British Colombia in Victoria and is likely to meet the Premier of British Colombia, Christy Clarke.

This will be the Prime Minister’s first visit to Canada.
