Voreqe Bainimarama has defended New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for standing with the Pacific leaders on the issue of climate change.
While replying to Alan Jones comments, Bainimarama says it’s easy to tell someone to shove a sock down a throat when you are in the comfort of a studio.
Easy to tell someone to shove a sock down a throat when you’re sitting in the comfort of a studio. The people of the Pacific, forced to abandon their homes due to climate change, don’t have that luxury. Try saying it to a Tuvaluan child pleading for help.
Jones is a popular radio broadcaster in Australia and is believed to be one of Morrison’s right wingman blasted Jacinda Ardern with these comments and went on to say that Arden is a complete clown.
While replying to these comments Bainimarama says the people of the Pacific are forced to leave their homes because of climate change.
Bainimarama says Jones should try making these comments to the children of Tuvalu who are crying for help.
PIFS leaders retreat is still underway.
