Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has sent wishes to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on his birthday.

In his message to Modi, Bainimarama wished him good health, happiness and prosperity.

He says Modi’s exemplary leadership in leading the largest democracy in the world is indeed inspirational.

He says Fiji looks forward to many more years of success in the future of Fijians.

Bainimarama conveyed his appreciation for the friendship forged over the year on behalf of the government.

Modi came to Fiji in 2014 for a day-long visit, the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 33 years.
