Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama received accolades from the host nation of the COP 24 meeting.

Bainimarama was commended for his continuous effort in showing the world the reality of climate change by Poland.

Meanwhile Fiji’s Youth Champion Timoci Naulusala who also spoke at the meeting says the call to action must continue.

“We call upon parties to work closely with Non-parties, stakeholders to enhance Global Ambition by 2020 and to develop low emission development strategies.”

Bainimarama also re-iterated that Fiji will continue to advocate on the devastation caused by climate change.
