November 4, 2018 6:56 pm

As the country heads into the final week of election build-up with many political campaigns wrapping up by Sunday before the blackout period, two party leaders will this afternoon debate issues and policies that each of their parties believe will benefit Fijians, the country and our economy.

FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama and SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka will go head to head in a debate that Fiji has been waiting for.

The two leaders are expected to talk about their political opinions and public policy proposals.

Bainimarama who had last month rejected NFP Leader Biman Prasad’s invitation for a debate says he looks forward to a debate with Rabuka.

Rabuka told FBC News he has always been open to a debate with any party leader.

This will also be the first time for Bainimarama and Rabuka to have a public debate.

The debate will be LIVE on FBC’s iTaukei station Radio Fiji One “Na Vakekeli” show from 1 to 3pm and streamed live on FBC’s Facebook page.
