Bail has been granted for the driver of the bus which was involved in the fatal accident in Navua on Monday.

The accident occurred along the Queens Highway near Kila World in Navua on Monday.

Navin Lal appeared in the Navua Magistrates Court this afternoon.

Lal has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death and one count of dangerous driving.

The driver of the private vehicle and a passenger passed away at the scene while another passenger is still admitted at the CWM Hospital.

The case will be recalled on February 6th.
