The members of the Ba Women’s Forum have been given the task to design gifts for the delegates of COP23 that will be held in Bonn, Germany next month.

Forum president, Dr Maria Doton, says they were asked to send designs of their products that will identify Fiji following the launch of their shopping bags earlier this year.

Dr Doton says the bags and folders that will be given to delegates at COP23 are made of mats and tapa.

“A tremendous accomplishment I would say. It is something that we feel very privileged about because out of all the women’s club probably and manufactures they have chosen us to do this – so it is something that we are very proud of.”

Dr Doton says other women’s groups should also persevere to promote Fijian Made products.
